My partner and I have been trying to have a child for 2 years now. We are a lesbian couple and have been together for 5 years.

We both are really ready to bring a child into this world. I am a child care worker and my partner is a Nurse. I am 27 and she is 32. We both want to have a child but she needs IVF to have 1 so, while I have the 1st child we can be saving to go down the IVF path with her.

We have been through so much over the past few years its just to much to type so here is a quick overview:

*Our 1st donor turned out 2 be a weirdo and was trying to make his own colt (I was trying with him…..we went on a search for another donor but had no luck so decided 2 go down the IVF path with my partner….

* For the past 18mths we have been seeing an IVF doc with my partner as she has medical infertility to which after many tests discovered she had cancer of the uterus…..

*We have been under going treatment for that of the past few months and have been given the all clear from that and the OK to start IVF but now that it has been taken out of medicare we are unable to afford the IVF treatment atm…..

There have been lots of other crazy things to stop us in our tracks, but they are the main ones.

So basically at the moment we are looking for another donor so that we can try at home to have a baby. We are happy for the donor to be in the childs life
